FAQs
Do you specialise in any particular sorts of roles?
Yes, we specialise in roles within the Events sector – we have worked in that sector for over 30 years – our team are from that sector, and we love it! We pride ourselves on working with a wide variety of clients within the sector, so it could be a big Corporate bank looking for an Event Manager, or an Association/Membership Body looking for a Head of Events, or an Events Agency looking for a bright Project Co-ordinator to join their team. There are so many different sorts of roles and organisations now within Events it’s brilliant, and we are delighted our clients are so varied, offering so many different sorts of opportunities within the field.
I am actively looking for a new role - what is the best way to keep in touch with the roles that you have?
Firstly check the roles we have up on our website now, and if you see anything that looks of interest then apply. We get new roles in on a rolling basis - so we recommend you sign up for Job Alerts on our website and then all new roles (or just roles in the sectors or at the salary level that you specify) will be sent direct to you as soon as we get them. And then you can apply to any that you think match your experience and aspirations. And you can amend, cancel or reinstate your Alerts at any time.
What happens when I apply for a role that you are advertising?
When you apply for a role with us, we review your details/CV/application and then, if your experience looks in line with what the client has asked us to find, we have a conversation with you to progress your interest. This is normally in an informal first interview phone call with you where we find out more about you, your aspirations, experience etc, we tell you more about the role, who it is with etc and we go from there.
If I apply for a role on your website, does my CV ever get sent on to the client directly?
No, we never send your CV or any details about you to a client without your permission. We only send your details to a client if we have interviewed you (so we understand your experience and aspirations), have fully briefed you on all the details about the role, who the client is etc, and, if we both agree it is a good match and you give your permission for your details to be shared, only then do we send any information about you to our client.
