A fantastic Event Coordinator role with the private banking division of a large global banking organisation that will see you liasing directly with high net worth clients.

The company

Our client is looking for an Event Coordinator to take on a 6 month rolling contract (based in their London west end offices) working for the Lifestyle Services Team of their private banking division. The role will primarily see you supporting an Event Manager working with the organisation’s private bankers, their integrated comms & creative agency and a wide range of luxury brand partners to coordinate the delegate side of bespoke events.

Financial sector experience is not required for this role however you must have a proven track record of delegate management and event administration and have be entirely comfortable working with luxury brands and high net worth individuals.

The role

Key responsibilities include:

Delegate management – managing the event registration and confirmation process
Communications – liasing with private bankers and directly with clients to provide all the event information in a consistent and timely manner
Event administration – loading events into the back-end web based management system, monitoring and coordinating event guest lists from within the system
Onsite event delivery – supporting the event managers to deliver events on occasion
Reporting – extracting event data and providing meaningful reports to help inform and guide the future development of events


Commercially aware, you'll need to have an incredible eye for detail and thrive in a fast paced high-pressure environment. You will have an interest in the luxury sector and a desire to progress in an Events role.

You should have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken). You'll also need to be articulate, polished, meticulous, and passionate about high-end events.

Key requirements include:

Experience working in a high net worth client-facing role
Previous event experience is preferred, ideally in a delegate management capacity
Alternatively, senior PAs who have looked after events and are keen to transfer their skills will also be considered
Excellent command of the English language and impeccable written skills.
Proficient at using bespoke computer software – Event Admin System.
Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint).
